So what exactly are back-lit images?

The images are dura transparencies. Created on a computer by using photoshop and various other tools redrawing and colouring original photographs taken of either real cars or sculptures, stretching them, adding movement and vivid colours. The transparency is mounted on acrylic and laid onto a custom built 12 volt powered LED light box…. So now you know….

All are unique, all are one-off’s. And only standing in front of one will you ever understand the wow factor these images convey. Also so far as we know, Terence is the only artists in the world creating automotive images in this way.

Looking at these images on your computer, ipad or phone really are not the perfect way to view these stunning editions. You need to see them up close and personal. At the studio. However if a trip to darkest south London is not possible, I would suggest at least making contact, expressing which image you are interested in. So that info relating to that image, with size options and prices can be forwarded. Along with image files which will be much larger, so that you will be able to view the colours and scale of the editions closer to the full sizes for you to enjoy. Currently some of the editions are complete. Mounted on light boxes and ready to ship. Some are currently stored as files, so you the client can have a say as to the final size. So if you have a specific space or location you would like to use to display the image, making contact at this stage would make perfect sense.
